Overview

What BEEBUS envisions for each child, is a time with us in which students learn more about socializing, taking turns and sportsmanship – by encouraging their friends when they do well on a skill, as well as increased spatial awareness, improved motor skills, and an overall sense of pride in themselves as they develop and improve on each new skill.

Class Size

Our class sizes range from 10 to 12 students per session with TWO coaches on board, making sure our students keep those minds and bodies SUPER busy! Rarely do our students waist time in line because we always have someone there to work with them! Quality is very important to BEEBUS as we want to make sure that our kids are getting the most out of their time and our parents are getting the most for their hard-earned dollars! Be believe that busy bodies and happy minds lead to healthy bodies, which is what we are ALL about!

Equipment

Using equipment like a zip line, ball pit, tumbling mats, cones, monkey bars, gymnastics rings, balance beam, Bosu ball, bean bags and more, and our very own bodies – your child will have a blast exercising! While using equipment that increases balance, strength and coordination we foster spatial awareness and prepare our students for sports and physical education classes at the elementary school level.

Physical Fitness Activities

During their time on the BEEBUS, our students learn gymnastics skills such as cartwheels, head stands, hand stands, pikes, straddles, jumps, forward rolls and backward rolls just to name a few. Our students also learn important safety skills used for landing. Although we would love our students to grow up to by Olympians, we truly are focused on teaching the basic foundations of gymnastics as well as other genres of sports as well as what it means to make “healthy choices for our minds and bodies”.


We at BEEBUS believe that exercise is more than just getting a little sweaty! We want our students to understand the reason why exercise is so important. While they may not fully understand right now, that little seed of knowledge will grow! Later, when it is time to make their own decisions, each child will have the tools they need to make the right decisions!


Skills

While we are always introducing new skills, it is also very important to repeat and practice many skills as well. Typically, we will be working our students in a circuit of skills. Some of them will be repeat skills, and some will be completely novel to them! Using a circuit allows us to keep the students moving and exercising with little down time (waiting time).
